I urge people to join in, comment with your paragraph of fiction to accompany the image. It doesn’t have to follow my story or reflect the same themes. It can be a poem or in a different language (provide a translation please :) ). Anyone who wants to join in, is welcome. This photograph will be reblogged under Ermisenda on tumblr and added to the Picture it & Write gallery on Facebook and Pinterest.

Every fortnight we hope to host a photograph suggested by contributors. So, keep those photograph recommendations coming. Submit your favourite images (with credit) for next week’s Picture it & write!

To and fro we danced. Sensual twirls, abrupt dives. It was easy at first. The ground was arid like a desert, my toes dry. With each lock of our gazes, I found myself closer to him. My eyes lost their flirtatious flutter, I tugged to free myself. While his firm was gentle, a strength that intimidated me lay quietly beneath the surface. I despised him. The two of us could never work. From the frantic and energetic moves we started from, we had surrendered to rhythmic swaying. The tension dissipated as waves of chemistry swirled around us. His body molded around mine. We were alone in an ocean of intimacy; wet fingers touching, moist tongues. I felt safe. My leg encircled him, ripples of pleasure ran up my thighs. They often say love and lust are enemies, but why not lovers?
