The The Impotence of Proof Reading
I cannot recall if I have ever posted this on Ermilia Blog. I thought I had but I can’t seem to find it through the archives. Regardless, one can never have too much Taylor Mali. An amazing video for all those writers, readers, and anyone who enjoys a good laugh.
Always remember to proof-read! Read up on some funny writing quotes to see what spurred me to post this video. 🙂

inSometimes when we are writing, we try to spruce up the story with a few analogies. Sometimes they’re good, and sometimes they are not so good. Here are some hilarious examples of really bad analogies. I doubt these are true analogies from high school students but I still thought this was a definite list to share. I can’t pick my favourite but #5 and #7 stood out for me!

I found this on my Tumblr dashboard. It was too funny not to share with us fellow readers and writers! I’m guilty of wishing to want to go to Hogwarts, constantly. But I don’t recall ever wishing to be in the Hunger Games… go figure. 😛
