book hang over, book hang over memes, book memes, books, funny, funny cartoon memes, funny reading memes, one day by david nicholls, reader memes, writing
I just finished reading One Day by David Nicholls and I’m trying to process what I feel about the novel. There were many things that I disliked, but I was most definitely touched by the novel’s story. It held me there. It made me reflect on life, love, and regret. But I’m not quite ready to write a review. I need time to think about what what I feel… to process…
As you can see, I’m having a book hangover.
But rather than keep processing my feelings, I decided to find book hangover memes that reflected the situation we readers often stumble into.
Do you suffer from book hangovers often?

That a great word: book hangover. 🙂
Yes, I have had that experience. If I wait too long though, still can’t write a review.

I’m having to find the right time to review. To give me time to reflect but also making sure I don’t wait too long. I don’t want to lose these raw feelings either! 😛

Love it, especially the one that claims ‘I can’t come into work today because a work of fiction has left me emotionally crippled.’ Beautiful. I wish I had had this for an excuse years ago. Too late now as I’m long retired. Mind, I’ve never suffered from a book hangover. On the contrary, I find I can often have three or four on the go at the same time, getting through about a dozen a week. (Retirement has a lot of advantages). I can’t always remember which language I am using at the time, but that is another problem altogether. If someone asks which language the book has been printed in, I usually need to take a look to see. There is surely a meme for this?

It’s a great meme. I’m very jealous of your ability to go through so many books in a week. If only I had that time! You could make a meme for that? 😛 Start a new book meme! I know I have to look back at what language the movies I watched as a child were. I had numerous Disney movies in Spanish only and when I watch the English version the voice overs/songs sound off. Not quite right (even though they’re the originals).

can anyone suggest a book that will get me to that book hangover stage?? It’s been a while since I’ve experienced it. I miss the feels!
