Agree! I’ve found some very interesting things on book shelves. I raise an eyebrow at raunchy titles, snort when it’s obvious someone is trying too hard to make the right first impression. I thought you’d enjoy a peek at one of my book shelves.

What books would you highlight on your staircase? I’m thinking Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Undomestic Goddess, The Good, The Bad, and the Uncanny, and Magic Lost, Trouble Found.
This gave me the idea to turn a staircase into a bookshelf. Too bad I live in a single floor apartment right now lol.

I love bookshelves, they are beautiful creations with a magical purpose: to store books. I saw a clever use of ‘book shelves’ recently. I walked into a second hand store and saw that they had glued the edge of the book onto the wall. On top of the flat book they placed a shoe to display. All over the wall beside the register were single shoes displayed on flat books glued into the wall at a right angle. 
What a great idea! It made me want to grab my books and glue them onto the wall and put my perfumes on top, or maybe stack more books on top. It truly redefined the idea of a book shelf for me and I found it so quirky. The image isn’t what it looked like, but it holds the same idea. Has anyone else seen a ‘book shelf’ like that before?
