I’ve just come out of the three most stressful weeks of my life. I would rather be back in school taking finals or sitting through the SAT than relive the last three weeks. You guys have been so patient and so supportive. Thank you for continuing to read and comment. Special thanks to Ermisenda who has held my hand and wiped my tears from half way around the world.
There have been moments, especially in the last three weeks, where I had to laugh so I wouldn’t cry. I started keeping a happiness journal and will probably go beyond the 100 days. I’ve found that I need to do and find things that make me happy rather than relying on others to make me happy. But that’s a topic for another post. Today I wanted to share one of the things that made me laugh and kept me from crying.
Raindrops on roses? Whiskers on kittens? What are some things you turn to when the dog bites or the bee stings?
Sorry to hear about your difficult past three weeks. Hope better days are ahead. ❤
I have my kitty Lady G. who perks me up. 🙂
Thanks so much. Shira (my beautiful calico) defiantly makes frequent appearances in my happiness journal.
❤ ❤
My sincere wishes that all your cares and problems are now resolved Ermilia~ I go out into the garden in the early hours of the morning, watch the sunrise, listen to the birds sing and lose all my cares in the solitary beauty of another new day. Working and loving nature. ❤ Peace 🙂
It sounds like you’re a morning person. Getting up and watching the sun rise is a great way to start the day.
Sorry to hear about your stressful time, we hope all your cares and problems are now resolved. In times of trouble, I get up early and go out into the garden, watch the sun rise, listen to the birds sing, and lose all my cares in working with the plants, as another new day begins.
