If you’ve been around the blog long, you know I’m obsessed with the Gilmore Girls. Young Rory Gilmore took a book with her everywhere, often more than one. She had a bus book, a homecoming book, a lunch book, so many that she couldn’t fit them all into a backpack. Even though Rory changed over the years, I haven’t. I still take books everywhere. My Kindle is constantly running low on batteries and I frequently have a paperback stuffed into my purse as well.
Currently, I’m reading High Magi by Eolyn author Karin Rita Gastreich, Magic Lost Trouble Found, and 7 Habits of Highly Effective People depending on where I’m reading and what I’m in the mood for.
Do you have different books for different reading locations?
–Eliabeth Hawthorne
I don’t have different books for different locations (but I have different notebooks for different locations – i.e. one for home, one for away from home etc). At the moment I’m reading Mansfield Park by Jane Austen! Her writing makes me so happy 😀
Ooo that’s on my list. When you write a review, be sure to share the link.
Reblogged this on Vampires, Crime and Angels…Eclectic Me.
Thanks ElleLainey, glad you enjoyed it enough to reblog.
I tend to have bathroom books. I have a stack of about six books in both my bathrooms, which I randomly transition through depending on my mood. This has the unfortunate consequence that I stay in the bathroom way longer than I need to, usually provoking the following conversation:
Overly-curious person: “What are you doing in there? You’ve been in there for half an hour!”
Me: “I’m reading! Leave me alone!”
Overly-curious person: “Why don’t you read in the living room?”
Me: “Because there’s no lock on the living room door! Now go away!”
Bahahahhahahaha Oh my gosh, I’ve done that.
