There are some pieces of writing that stop you in your tracks. Some that make you catch your breath. I found this tiny excerpt on Tumblr and I just stared at it for a minute. What a beautiful metaphor for the ache of love. I re-read it numerous times and had to blog about it. I wish I had been the one to think of these lines. I’ve never read anything from D.H. Lawrence but maybe I will now.
