I’m a massive fan of Disney. It’s hard to pick favourites so I won’t even begin (e.g. The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Emperor’s New Groove, Aladdin, The Jungle Book, The Sword in the Stone, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Tarzan, Chicken Little…) because I will end up naming them all anyway (Oops…). A friend of mine told me that they were releasing a new Disney Pixar film called ‘Brave’. We quickly went online and found the trailer.
I. Can’t. Wait.
Not only is she a princess but she kicks butt! Merida defies an age-old custom and destiny, unleashing chaos in the kingdom set in the mysterious highlands of Ireland. I’m a big supporter of strong female protagonists (so sick of Twilight garbage. *Lifts up shield to protect myself from the fans*) and this looks like it will be great. Apparently the director will be a female as well, meaning that this will be the first movie to be directed by a female for Pixar productions and Merida will be Pixar’s first female protagonist – some random trivia. (I wonder why it took Pixar so long to get some kick-ass females!)
Is anyone else excited by Brave? And don’t tell me I’m too old to get excited by Disney movies! It’s impossible to be too old for them. 😀 Are there some ‘children’ movies you can’t stop re-watching?

I’ll never tire of the Princess Bride. It’s not exactly for adults.
This looks like a fun movie. I was instantly relieved that Scottish accents belong to Scots! Changing fate always sounds like fun!
(Eliabeth responding) The Princess Bride is for everyone! Adventure, fencing, wrestling, revenge, true love! It hits every demographic except sparkly vampires.
LOL! To anyone searching for sparkly vampires, I can only say, “As you wish.”
Changing fate IS always fun. 😀 Especially without the sparkly vamps.
I love Disney movies too!!! And I can’t wait either for that! ^^
Yay!
OMG! I love Disney. My latest favorite is Tangled.
Yeah I haven’t watched that one yet. I’ve heard so many good reviews of Tangled, it’s on my list. 😀
Tangled became my instant favorite when the witch called Rapunzel “Flower” at the beginning. It only got better after that. A lot to love.
Disney movies are so awesome!
Brave looks awesome!
So much awesomeness!
Brave is most certainly on the “to be watched” list. The animated film I still watch from time to time is Robin Hood, in which Maid Marion and Robin Hood are foxes. Oooooodalolly!
Oh, and I am in agreement on tangled. Good stuff.
I could never get sick of this Robin Hood – fox version 😉 I used to have a crush on him. Haha 😀
Robin Hood is good, although I never got sucked into that story as much as the others. See! Another supporter of Tangled, I NEED to watch it!
