I definately have seen this happening to me a lot, every ime i go to the library my eyes start observing the covers of books and the titles. Then my eyes and hands go into automatic mode and find the books I like. This process happens about every time I enter any bookstore/library, or any place with books really. Ik hou van boeken, I love books 😀
I have a similar “scanning” frenzy like you described. It’s something in the air! Ik hou ook van boeken, or for the Spanish approach ‘Me encantan libros tambien!’ 😀
Oh yes, it happens to me too!! As soon as I step into a bookstore and breathe the distinctive scent associated with good quality paper and the aroma of coffee drifting from the coffee shop indoors, I get a high that seems to add wings to my feet. And then its history… or rather not since I usually get confused as to where to begin my literary feast. Ah, even writing this is giving me profound pleasure…maybe it’s time to hit the bookstore again!
It makes me want to binge buy. Books are probably the only thing I ever feel like binge buying. I just ALWAYS need to buy a book whenever I see a cluster of them. It’s so intoxicating. I think it’s time to hit the bookstore again, the glasses image is demanding me to!
Haha, mine can go in slow motion but generally it’s pretty frantic until I get my cool again. Then I can calmly walk around the store for hours on end.
Libraries too, right? You made me want to share this quote…
“The library was a place of incredible inspiration for me. Walking through the doors I could feel thousands of little worlds, just like the ones I wanted to create, waiting eagerly on the shelves to reveal their wonders to the brave adventurers who would dare to crack their covers.”
So many books, so little time 🙂 It’s amazing how my car seems to veer over to Barnes & Noble whenever it’s within a few miles of the place. Yes, my car made me go there and get “just one more” book! A bookstore…what an Imaginarium 🙂
haha nice picture 🙂
And yes, this effect happens to me too. Love books ❤
Long live books! 🙂

Love it!
I do too lol! And I wear glasses 🙂 This animation is so cool!
Yay! Someone who wears glasses, I would wear glasses that had flashing images like that. Just for the kicks.

That’s an amazing quote. Thanks for sharing it Anne! ‘I could feel thousands of little words’ – so beautiful.

I know what you’re talking about. We simply can’t be blamed for the malfunctions evident in our cars. We had to! 😀 Thanks for the comment.
