The Danger of a Single Story by Chimamanda Adichie holds a great concept; the need for stories told by not only one perspective. Not only do her powerful words speak true about life, society and human beings but also echoes the work Eliabeth and I are trying to achieve with our two-sided novels. I came across this video while learning about Narrative Therapy in a Psychology lecture and I felt the need to share.

What are your thoughts on Chimamanda’s words? TED.com is a great resource for inspirational, fascinating and meaningful videos such as this one.

As a writer I find it mesmerising, as a human being I find it overwhelming and as an individual I find it both terrifying and empowering.
