I like to take my books out onto the hammock sometimes and count that as an outdoor activity. What’s your favorite place to read?

A true book nerd reads everywhere
bed, definitely.
My first thought was, “Why is that a problem?”
Two favorites of mine: I used to hide in the hay fields like I wrote about in Tunnels in the Hay, and that was a great place to read. Maybe my best reading memory was “camping out” in the yard, with my head sticking out of the tent, and the full moon was so bright I could read by the moonlight!
Lying on the sofa with a dog snuggled up beside me. Ideally in front of a turf fire in front of me. Heaven!
Awe, you’re making me miss my puppy at my parent’s house. Nothing better than reading snuggled up with an animal.
I like to read locked in my bathroom soaking in a bubble bath. Calgon and a novel take me away.

I like to walk out to a park where there is short path that leads to a railroad track. It is right next to a river and shaddy. I love to read there. The other place is my couch with my cat laying on me. She seems to watch for me to pick up my kindle and walk into that room. Then she watches me a little, hopes up and lays down on me. (Sometimes, I end up taking too long of a nap because I find this to be soooo relaxing.)
